These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will apply to the purchase of goods by you(our customer). We are Retro Sports Cars Ltd (Companies House Registration Number 08123599) trading on our retrosportscars.co.uk website. Retro Sports Cars trading and registered address is Unit 1 Clifton Mills Shed, Birkby Lane, Bailiff Bridge, Brighouse, West Yorkshire HD6 4JJ. You must be at least 16 years old to purchase from our website, have a credit or debit card that we accept and be authorised to use that credit or debit card.

 

Retro Sports Cars Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend or withdraw any aspect of this website (in part or whole) at any time without prior notice. If you continue to use this website following an alteration it will be deemed as your acceptance to this change. Prices are subject to change without notice.

 

The description of the goods is as it appears on the website and is for illustrative purposes only. There may be slight differences in the size and colour of the goods supplied. All goods are subject to availability. It is the customers own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet their specific requirements.

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. We will only accept your order once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card. You may be able to cancel or change your order within a short period and before you receive an email telling you your order has been despatched. You must ensure all details on the confirmation email are correct and inform us immediately if there are any errors. All payments are processed for us through Stripe.

 

All prices on the website include VAT at the current rate – 20%. Our VAT registration number is 137 5713 06.

 

Deliveries will be usually carried out by Royal Mail’s 1st class recorded delivery where possible and delivery’s can usually be tracked. Details are available on request. We will deliver abroad but prices will need to be agreed before the order will be taken. Once delivery has been made the responsibility for the goods belongs to the buyer.

 

 

Retro Sports Cars Ltd/Xpower Parts does not offer any warranty or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the materials in this website in terms of their accuracy, timeliness,correctness, reliability or otherwise. All reasonable care is taken to ensure images, specifications, descriptions and prices of products on this website are correct at the time of entry. Retro Sports Cars are constantly updating and maintaining the website to keep the information as current and accurate as possible.

You, (and NOT Retro Sports Cars Ltd) assume total responsibility and risk for your use of this website and the Internet.

Retro Sports Cars Ltd will do our best to ensure that this website and any of its functions will be uninterrupted and error-free, that defects will be corrected, and that this website and the servers that make it available, are free of viruses or other harmful components but this is not guaranteed and Retro Sports Cars is not liable for any of the above.

 

All goods sold through our website are covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which allow for a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period during which you may cancel your order by sending us a letter or e-mail at any time up to and including the 14th working day after the day on which you received your purchase. If you choose to use your statutory right to cancel you must immediately return to us,at your own cost, the item(s) that you do not wish to keep. Original and return carriage charges are non-refundable. Please ensure all goods are adequately packed to avoid damage, that you insure them accordingly with the carrier used and obtain a proof of shipment. Only goods that are returned in the condition they were supplied in at the point of sale and with their original, undamaged packaging will be refunded. All returns should be sent to Unit1 Clifton Mills, Birkby Lane, Brighouse, West Yorkshire HD6 4JJ.

The warranty period commences from our invoice date not from the date of installation or first use. This warranty covers defects to the part when fitted and used correctly for normal, everyday vehicle use but does not apply to parts used for any extraordinary or unusual uses such as competition, racing, rallying or parts subsequently stripped down, altered, modified or adapted etc. in any way from their original design or intended use. Our warranties do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Although we are, by law, liable for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence and by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, our warranty only covers the parts in question and not any consequential loss or cost, eg garage labour, recovery, car hire, re-delivery, parking fines etc. No claim will be validated if the failure is caused by mis-use, neglect, overheating, incorrect installation or failure of a related component.

Retro Sports Cars Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to: damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from: the use or the inability to use the service; unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
